Latest .... Jodie Marsh competes in a bespoke 'Harlequin posing outfit'
Jodie Marsh shows off her amazing new look after just eight weeks of training. Jodie's new body, honed by personal trainer Tim Sharp, saw her come in fifth position at the world-famous Sheffield championships. The 32-year-old former glamour model has gone from a size 10 to a size six, and from 25 per cent body fat to 10 per cent body fat
It's not been an easy journey for the former Celebrity Big Brother star, who revealed she eats 15 egg whites and seven protein shakes a day whilst cutting carbohydrates out of her diet entirely. Jodie also has to push herself in the gym every singe day in order to maintain her new muscular physique. Explaining her daily workout regime, she said: 'I do three hours of cardio, two hours of weights and one hour of abs a day. I also do an hour of posing and routine work. When you're on stage, you have to do the compulsory poses and then you have to do a routine to music. The posing is harder than any weight training in the gym because you have to hold it for so long and have to tense every single muscle at the same time.'
Jodie's transformation into a bodybuilder has been documented for DMAX show Jodie Marsh: Bodybuilder, due to premiere in January 2012, but the Essex-born star insists she would have gone down the bodybuilding route with or without the TV cameras. 'My trainer Tim Sharp approached me 3 years ago and said that he could get me fit. All along he said to me that I should do a competition. He's been competing for 20 years and he said I would love the buzz'
We at Harlequin are very proud of Jodie's achievement.
